There is an aspect of alchemy involved in the process of fusing glass to metal, in creating beautiful colors from powder and copper. Drawn to those colors, opaque and translucent, full of depth and light, Tessa Poppe took one class in enameling while in school and never looked back. She graduated from California College of Arts and Crafts with a BFA in painting in 2002, and began tessapoppy design in 2004. Tessa brings her eye for composition and color to her jewelry designs along with a desire for mystery and dramatic possibilities.
